My relationship with food has been a winding and complex one. Looking back, I realize that vegetarianism had quietly beckoned me, even when I hadn't quite listened. Growing up, I wasn't fond of vegetables, and sweets were my go-to. Strangely, my grandfather, a vegetarian healer who lived to be 92, and my great-grandfather, whom I never met, were strong advocates for plant-based living. Yet, my family often teased them about their "meatless" diet. I mistakenly associated vegetarianism with inadequacy.
A Passion for Nutrition
At 16, I decided to become a nutritionist, driven by my fascination with the science behind food and its potential to provide a life of abundance and longevity. My goal was clear: make plant-based foods as protein-rich and delicious as their animal counterparts to promote accessible, healthy living. I pursued a master's degree and was deeply involved in scientific research. However, I soon realized that my true calling was helping people directly, guiding them toward their goals, and solving their unique challenges.
The Journey to Plant-Based Living
My personal journey to plant-based living began on February 6, 2016. Initially, my focus was on my studies, and I rarely spent more than 30 minutes preparing meals. Convenience led to pasta, cheese, and even rice and beans. But within two weeks, I felt a remarkable change – more vitality, less fatigue, and a sensation of being on top of the world all day long. Over time, I learned to embrace food for pleasure and nourishment, crafting diverse and enjoyable recipes.
The Joy of Nutritious Living
Today, I'm fueled by my love for nutrition and my desire to bring wellness and vitality into my life. I follow a plant-based diet, savoring real, minimally processed foods. I relish being creative in the kitchen and crafting my unique recipes. Fitness has become an integral part of my daily life, and I am committed to helping others realize their potential for holistic well-being. Through nearly a decade of experience, I've been humbled to support countless individuals on their transformative journeys toward a healthier, happier life.
